Both currently run 4:00 pm to midnight, both sit in the same walkable neighbourhood about 45 km from Downtown <a href=\"https:\/\/webook.com\/blog\/best-desert-camping-in-riyadh\/\">Riyadh<\/a>, and Fridays at Aquarabia are for women and children only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This guide covers what each park is, what they cost, and which one to book. It opened to the public on 23 April 2026 after a soft opening over the Eid holiday in March, <a href=\"https:\/\/spa.gov.sa\/en\/N2552278\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced by the Saudi Press Agency<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The park hosts 22 rides and attractions across eight themed zones drawn from native Saudi wildlife and landscapes, four of them world-record-breaking. Seven of the 22 are dry attractions, which matters more than it sounds: it means the park is not a wash-out for anyone in your group who does not want to get in the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Named attractions include Surftopia, the Kingdom&#8217;s first surf pool, plus Junoon Drop, Slithereel, Jamal Joom, Speedy Jamezales, the Aquaticar, a white-water kayaking venue and the Wave Wadi stage. Surfing at Surftopia is a separate purchase rather than part of the gate ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>91 climate-controlled cabanas, sold as upgrades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>24 food and drink outlets and 7 shops, which sell swimwear, sunscreen and souvenirs if you arrive without them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discounted tickets for people with disabilities, accessible turnstiles, wheelchair-accessible washrooms and lockers, and dedicated accessible parking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Over 80 percent of operational waste recycled, and 100 percent recycled water used for irrigation and cooling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is Six Flags Qiddiya City?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dry park, and the older of the two. <a href=\"https:\/\/webook.com\/en\/sa\/ruh\/experience\/events\/six-flags-new-2026\">Six Flags Qiddiya City<\/a> opened on 31 December 2025 as the first Six Flags destination built outside North America. The National Center for Meteorology has forecast temperatures above normal across most of the Kingdom through August, September and October 2026, by up to 2.5 degrees in August and 2 degrees in September. A water park in a hot late summer is the more comfortable half of Qiddiya, and the seven dry attractions cover anyone who does not swim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Book Six Flags if<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You are there for the coasters. Falcons Flight is the reason most first-time visitors make the trip, and no water park substitutes for it. It is also the better pick for teenagers and for anyone whose day is built around one headline ride rather than a slow afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Book both if<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have more than one day, or you are buying the Summer Pass. Because both parks sit in the same walkable neighbourhood and both are operated by Six Flags under Qiddiya Investment Company, moving between them is a short walk rather than a second journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What does it cost?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aquarabia opened with gate prices of SAR 325 for adults and SAR 200 for children aged 4 to 11, with under-4s free and 15 percent off for booking five or more days ahead, which brought those down to SAR 275 and SAR 170. Six Flags Qiddiya City opened with adult tickets from USD 85 and children from USD 70, under-4s free, and reduced-price accessibility tickets from USD 20 sold at the park only rather than online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two honest caveats. Those are the figures each park published at its opening, and neither has been restated since, so the price on the listing at the time of booking is the one that applies. And Qiddiya has confirmed an unlimited-access Summer Pass covering both parks for the summer season, which runs to 22 September 2026, but has not published a price for it. This guide will not quote a number it cannot source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When are the parks open?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both run 4:00 pm to midnight. That is a significant change from the noon to 8:00 pm schedule Aquarabia opened with, and it reshapes the whole trip: Qiddiya is now an evening out, not a day out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plan the drive around it. Arriving at 4:00 pm and leaving at midnight is an eight-hour window, and the journey home comes at the end of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Friday rule you need to know before booking<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fridays at Aquarabia are reserved for women and children. It is confirmed in both the Saudi Press Agency announcement and Qiddiya&#8217;s own media centre, and it is the detail most likely to derail a booking made in a hurry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Six Flags Qiddiya City does not operate the same restriction, so a mixed group on a Friday has an obvious answer: the dry park that day, the water park another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do you get to Qiddiya from Riyadh?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Qiddiya City is about 45 km from Downtown Riyadh and around 70 km from King Khalid International Airport. Three routes:.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Free shuttle: available to anyone holding a valid park ticket, departing every 30 minutes from 3:00 pm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Metro plus shuttle: Riyadh Metro to STC Station on the Blue or Red line, or <a href=\"https:\/\/webook.com\/blog\/spanish-super-cup-final-barcelona-vs-real-madrid-tickets\/\">Jeddah<\/a> Road Station on the Orange line, then the complimentary Qiddiya City bus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driving: the official page publishes the distance but not a reliable journey time, and its own estimates disagree with each other. Budget generously rather than trusting a single number, and remember the return leg lands after midnight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The shuttle is the underrated option. It is free with a ticket, it removes the parking question entirely, and its 3:00 pm start lines up with the 4:00 pm gates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What else is open at Qiddiya?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only the two parks, as things stand.
