Opal novel

A herd of horses galloped in beautiful harmony, in perfect synchrony, the sounds of their hooves pounding the ground harmonizing with the beats of their successive hearts. Their formations aligned elegantly as they raced, their speeds unified as if they were one fabric. The rain lessened gradually until it became a gentle whisper, and the rain’s bow adorned the sky’s page, embracing the distant horizon.

One of the horses neighed, its clear, crisp sound causing its companions to respond in kind, then it led them forward, pursued by their thundering hooves until they finally reached a vast, lush orchard. If you were a horse, you would marvel at them, and if you were human, you would marvel as well, for the voices that rose when the pounding of their chests subsided were not the voices of horses at all, but the voices of humans!”
