Getting started

Present a printed copy of your voucher alongside a valid photo ID at the cathedral entry. Be prepared for mandatory bag searches at security. Note that large bags, food, beverages, and sharp objects are prohibited, and respectful dress is required.

Enjoy self-paced access across the main cathedral floor, the crypt, and the dome galleries, with visitors spending roughly two hours on average. Collect your complimentary multilingual audio guide upon arrival or join a scheduled guided tour (subject to availability).

Large bags over 45cm x 30cm x 25cm (incl. handles, wheels, or pockets) are not allowed; no open drinks/food; no illegal or dangerous items.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along.

Accessibility

Wheelchair and pram/stroller access is available to the Cathedral floor and Crypt, but the Dome Galleries are stairs-only.

Additional Information

On Sundays, the cathedral is closed for visits.

Children aged 16 or younger must be accompanied and supervised by an adult aged 18 or over at all times during their visit.

The Whispering Gallery and St Dunstan's Chapel are no photography areas.
