À propos

Walk in the footsteps of pilgrims who once passed through Jeddah on their journey to Makkah.

Since Jeddah became the seaport of Makkah in the early Islamic era, the city's history has been deeply connected to pilgrims and merchants arriving across the Red Sea. Over the centuries, Jeddah developed into a gateway to the Holy Cities and a meeting point for people and cultures from around the world.

On this 2.5-hour walking tour, we retrace part of the historic pilgrims' journey through Old Jeddah — from the former port area and its historic gates, through traditional markets, mosques, and Hijazi houses, all the way to Bab Makkah (Makkah Gate), where pilgrims and caravans continued their journey toward Makkah.

This is more than a sightseeing tour. It is a journey into the story of how pilgrimage shaped Jeddah's identity, economy, culture, and everyday life for centuries. 🌿 Full Description | Walk in the Footsteps of Pilgrims
