Qasr Al Watan - Presidential Palace of Abu Dhabi Tickets

An architectural marvel

Nestled in Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan is a presidential palace that was recently opened to the public.

One of the finest examples of Arabic architecture and craftsmanship, the palace's design signifies its heritage and its future vision.

The palace has its own library with books on a wide range of subjects including archaeology, history, heritage, memoirs, biographies, human and social sciences, statistics, administration, culture, literature, arts, etc.

It also has its own gift shops; one at the Visitors Center and the other at the palace building.

One of the major attractions of the palace is its light and sound show, which depicts the history and growth of the UAE as a nation.

This show has been divided into three acts: past, present, and future.

Also get a chance to hold a falcon, take some pictures with them, and learn more about their nature and behavior at a falcon experience in front of the palace's main door.

What to bring

- It is recommended to wear respectful clothing when visiting the palace. Knees and shoulders should be covered.

What's not allowed

- Eating and drinking are not permitted in the Great Hall or exhibition rooms.

- Pets are not allowed due to venue restrictions.

- Prohibited items include penknives or knives of any kind, scissors, long umbrellas, paints/aerosols, bicycles, folding bikes, roller-skates or skateboards, large bags that cannot fit through airport-style security scanners, CS gas (tear gas), and any weapons.

- Re-entry is not permitted.Accessibility

- This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

- Wheelchairs are available for rent free of charge, and strollers can be rented for AED 20.

- Facilities include free parking.

- Please ensure that your mobile phone is set to silent mode before entering the palace.

- The Palace in Motion show starts at 7:45 pm, with the last entry at 7:15 pm.

- The falcon experience will take place in front of the palace's main gate from 22 January to 1 March 2025.

- The falcon experience will be held on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 10:00 am, 11:15 am, 2:00 pm, 3:15 pm, and 4:30 pm.

- During the first week, sessions will take place only on Wednesdays and Fridays before transitioning to the regular schedule.
