Adult Dinghy Sailing Level 1 at JYC Academy

JYC Adult Dinghy Level 1 introduces adults with little or no sailing experience to the fundamentals of sailing in single-handed and double-handed dinghies, at JYC Academy, an RYA internationally recognised training centre. The course consists of five coached sessions of three hours each, all to be completed within 12 weeks, and you can book onto eligible weekly classes subject to availability, weather and instructor approval. You will focus on boat rigging, launching and recovery, steering, sail handling, basic manoeuvres and safety afloat, with JYC Adult Dinghy Level 2 as the recommended next step.
