Make Your Own Cup Workshop

Please arrive ten minutes before the workshop.

Note that entry will not be allowed if twenty minutes of the workshop have passed.

Price is for one person.

Making a cup without a handle.

Session duration / one hour.

Session topics:

• Explanation on how to fix the clay on the wheel
• (Centering) Demonstration of how to place the clay in the middle of the wheel and fix it
• Method of making the hole in the center
• Expanding the base or desired shape
• Pulling the clay to form the shape
• Final shape of the piece and finishing
• Making a piece (cup without a handle)
• Firing the pieces.

Target audience: Women, men, and children.

The workshop does not include coloring the piece, as coloring is a separate workshop for an additional fee which can be booked after receiving your piece.

When booking the workshop for a child, it is preferable to have a companion present with the child.
