The Jeddah E-Prix opens the 2026/27 Formula E season on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 December 2026 at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, with the first races of the GEN4 era. Grandstand tickets for Day 1 start from EUR 22.74 and for Day 2 from EUR 22.89, and EMOTION Club hospitality covers both days from EUR 5,347.16. All of it is on webook.com.

When is the Jeddah E-Prix in December 2026?

The Jeddah E-Prix runs on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 December 2026 at Jeddah Corniche Circuit. It is a night double-header and the opening weekend of the 2026/27 season, rounds 1 and 2 of a record 21-race calendar, according to Formula E’s published calendar.

Do not mix it up with the February 2026 race. Jeddah also hosted a Formula E round that month, but that event is over. These December races start a new season, the first with GEN4 cars, and the championship then moves on to Mexico City on 16 January 2027.

Dates are set by the championship together with the Saudi authorities, and the webook.com listings show the current status. If you are flying in for the weekend, check the listing again a week before you travel.

How much are Jeddah E-Prix tickets?

There are three ways in. Prices below are as displayed on each listing on 6 October 2026, VAT included. The listing is always the final word.

  • Jeddah E-Prix Day 1: Friday 18 December 2026, Grandstands, from EUR 22.74. A single-day ticket for round 1.
  • Jeddah E-Prix Day 2: Saturday 19 December 2026, from EUR 22.89. A single-day ticket for round 2 with a new artist lineup.
  • EMOTION Club: 18–19 December 2026, two-day trackside hospitality from EUR 5,347.16. The package lists a premium trackside venue with elevated views of the pit lane and starting grid, pit lane walks, garage and broadcast-centre tours, all-day dining and VIP amenities.

Tickets are non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable, so confirm the date before you pay. Every option sits on the Formula E Jeddah tickets page.

What is the schedule on race day?

Both days run from about 1:30 PM into the early hours: Day 1 until 12:30 AM and Day 2 until 1:00 AM, with the race itself at 8:05 PM on each night, according to the listings. Arrive early. The programme starts hours before the race.

Each day follows the same shape: free practice, qualifying, the race and the podium ceremony. Day 1 adds the opening ceremony. Around the track, the listings promise artist performances and DJ sets, and Day 2 brings a brand-new artist lineup. Each listing carries the lineup as it is confirmed.

Day 1, Day 2 or both: which should you book?

Book both if you can. Each day has its own race, and together they make the opening two rounds of the season. If you can only choose one, Day 1 gives you the first GEN4 race and the opening ceremony, while Day 2 gives you the second race and a fresh set of artists.

Want the hospitality version? EMOTION Club is the trackside package for both days and is separate from the grandstand tickets. It suits groups and corporate hosting rather than a casual fan who just wants to see the race.

What is Formula E GEN4 and why does it matter?

GEN4 is Formula E’s new car for the 2026/27 season, and Jeddah is where it races for the first time. Formula E lists 450 kW (about 600 bhp) in race mode and 600 kW (about 800 bhp) in Attack Mode, roughly 1.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and a top speed above 335 km/h. The full specification is on Formula E’s GEN4 page.

The car uses permanent all-wheel drive from a dual-motor system and weighs 954 kg without the driver. Regenerative braking recovers nearly half of the energy used in a race. For a spectator, that means one thing to watch: who saves energy early, and who has enough left to use Attack Mode late.

Is Formula E the same as Formula 1?

No. Formula E is its own FIA World Championship for all-electric cars. The cars, the calendar and the tickets are all separate from Formula 1, so a Formula 1 ticket does not get you into this event.

What does the 2026/27 Formula E season look like after Jeddah?

The championship leaves Saudi Arabia for Mexico City on 16 January 2027, then Austin on 6 February and Miami on 20 February, according to Formula E’s calendar. Monaco follows on 1 and 2 May 2027 and London on 29 and 30 May. The season closes with double-headers in Shanghai on 10 and 11 July and Tokyo on 24 and 25 July.

On the published calendar, Jeddah is the only Saudi round and the only race before January. If you want to see the new car on its first race weekend, this is the one.

How should you plan race night?

Treat it as an evening out, not a two-hour sit. The programme starts around 1:30 PM and the race is at 8:05 PM, so decide whether you want the full day or just qualifying and the race. Have your ticket ready, check the entry instructions on the listing and leave time for security.

Pack light. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, professional cameras are not allowed, and tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged, so settle your plans before you pay. If you are going both days, book your return travel for Sunday afternoon: Day 2 finishes around 1:00 AM.

How do I get to Jeddah and where should I stay?

If you are coming from outside Jeddah, search flights on webook.com and hotels on webook.com before you pick a day. A two-night event concentrates demand on the same dates, so book your hotel early.

Visitors from abroad may need a visa. The Saudi Package Visa bundles round-trip flights, licensed accommodation and an electronic visa application in one booking. It is an application, not an instant approval, and eligibility depends on current rules, so read the Saudi Package Visa guide first.

On the night itself, check your listing and ticket for entry instructions and plan to arrive well before the 8:05 PM race. While you are in town, browse everything else on in Jeddah on webook.com.

What are the ticket rules?

  • Tickets are non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
  • Professional cameras and video equipment are not permitted.
  • Children under 3 enter free in General Admission and Grandstand, according to the Day 2 listing. Check each listing for its own terms.
