SAUDI GAMES THE BIGGEST NATIONAL SPORTING EVENT 2024

The Saudi Games, hosted this year in Riyadh from October 3 to October 17, is the largest national sports event in the Kingdom. The event serves as a platform for athletes to excel, reach their full potential, inspire Saudi youth through sports, and showcase the Kingdom’s capabilities in hosting major events on a global scale. The third edition of the Saudi Games 2024 will feature over • 9,000 male and female athletes representing more than 200 clubs from across the Kingdom. • They will compete in 53 different sports, including 7 Paralympic sports and 11 exhibition sports, with an increase in youth sports categories, encompassing 15 sports. • The organizing committee of the Saudi Games has announced that registration for the performance trials will open from August 25 to September 15, covering 25 sports for the third edition. Competing athletes will vie for a total prize pool exceeding 200 million Riyals. The gold medalist will receive 1 million Riyals, the silver medalist 300,000 Riyals, and the bronze medalist 100,000 Riyals.
