Cultural Experiences

By registering for Cultural Experiences through the WeBook platform, you, as a “Participant,” agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions:

General Provisions

1. The Ministry of Culture or any of its partners may publish any information it deems appropriate regarding participants and all matters related to Cultural Experiences on its official website and social media accounts.

2. The Ministry of Culture or any of its partners reserves the right to disqualify any participant without providing reasons, and without incurring any obligations or compensation of any kind.

3. The Ministry of Culture or any of its partners reserves the right to suspend, postpone, cancel, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Participants are responsible for reviewing any updates to these Terms and Conditions, as the Ministry will not announce such changes.

4. The Ministry of Culture or its authorized representatives have the right to use any outputs resulting from the event, including images, recordings, media materials, or any content produced during participation, for documentation, publication, promotion, or archiving purposes, without time limitation and without financial compensation, in order to avoid any future claims relating to the use of such materials.

5. The participant must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during participation in the event.

Participation Terms

The participant, or their representative, agrees and undertakes to comply with the following terms:

1. Consent to the capture, reproduction, and use of my personal images by the Ministry and its partners in Cultural Experiences.

2. Acknowledge that my participation in this event may be recorded and broadcast by the Ministry or its authorized representatives, including audio recordings by journalists and the Ministry’s event team.

3. Agree that my participation and personal images may be displayed—fully or partially—to the public on the Ministry’s official website or its authorized partners’ platforms for archiving, documentation, promotional, and media purposes. Such materials may be distributed, archived, or displayed through various multimedia formats and social media channels. Audio recordings of my contributions may also be broadcast or used—fully or partially—online or by journalists and authorized partners, including internet radio.

4. Agree not to raise any claims against the Ministry or its official partners regarding the capture, use, reproduction, broadcast, or publication of any personal images, audio, or audiovisual recordings, or the reproduction of my personal data in connection with my participation.

5. The Ministry of Culture may appoint a third party to manage and/or use the rights and purposes granted above.

6. Agree to be personally photographed by the Ministry or its authorized partners without receiving any financial or moral compensation, whether now or in the future, in relation to Cultural Experiences, without prejudice to the provisions stated above.

Legal Liability

1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws and regulations applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from participation in Cultural Experiences shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent judicial authorities in the city of Riyadh.

2. In the event of any dispute arising from participation, the participant releases the Ministry of Culture and its partners from any liability for material or moral damages. The participant alone shall bear full responsibility for any violation or breach committed by the participant.

3. The Ministry of Culture and its partners shall not be held liable for any damages or losses resulting from participation in the event or use of the website, unless caused by gross negligence on the part of the organizing entity.

4. The Ministry of Culture and its partners shall not be held liable for any legal actions taken against the participant in the event of the participant’s violation of any laws or regulations before official authorities.

5. The participant acknowledges that all provided information is accurate. If proven otherwise, the participant shall bear full responsibility and shall undertake to notify the Ministry of Culture of any changes to such information.

6. The Ministry of Culture and its partners shall not be responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information resulting from human error or technical issues such as data loss, delayed transmission, deletion, or failures in telephone lines, computers, networks, or related equipment.
