Adult Course | JYC RYA Dinghy Level 1

Overview: JYC Adult Dinghy Level 1 introduces the fundamentals of sailing in single-handed and double-handed dinghies. JYC Academy is an RYA internationally recognised training centre.

Who it’s for: Adults with little or no previous sailing experience.

Format: 5 coached sessions × 3 hours. All sessions must be completed within 12 weeks.

Schedule: Book onto eligible weekly class sessions, subject to availability, weather and instructor approval.

Skills Focus: Boat rigging, launching and recovery, steering, sail handling, basic manoeuvres and safety afloat.

Progression: Recommended next step: JYC Adult Dinghy Level 2.
