JYC Youth Dinghy Stage 2 Sailing Course, Jeddah

JYC Youth Dinghy Stage 2 is a structured sailing programme that builds confidence through coached on-water sessions and clear progress tracking. It is designed for children who already understand the basics and are ready to sail a simple course more independently. The programme runs over 5 coached sessions of 3 hours each, to be completed within 12 weeks, with skills focusing on course work, steering, tacking, gybing, stopping, balance and growing independence afloat. Participants book onto eligible weekly class times published by JYC, subject to space, weather and instructor availability, and the first attended session is the selected booking date, used for programme introduction and initial assessment. Jeddah Yacht Club is an RYA Recognised Training Centre, and successful students receive the relevant RYA Certificate on completion. The recommended next step is JYC Youth Dinghy Stage 3, or members of JYC Academy can join all courses and clubs at no cost.

1. By purchasing a ticket or booking, the participant agrees to follow the organiser’s terms and any venue, safety or instructor directions issued before or during the activity. 2. Bookings are non-refundable except where the organiser cancels, postpones or materially changes the activity. 3. Missed sessions, no-shows or unused bookings cannot be rearranged, refunded or carried forward unless the organiser confirms otherwise in writing. 4. Late arrivals may not be permitted to join once the briefing or on-water activity has started. 5. If the organiser cancels, postpones or changes the date, the booking value will be refunded to the provider e-wallet / payment channel in line with platform policy. 6. Participants are responsible for checking the date, time, location, age requirements and arrival instructions. Early arrival is recommended. 7. By attending, participants consent to reasonable photography, video and audio capture for event and marketing use by the organiser and venue unless they notify the organiser in advance. 8. The organiser accepts no liability for loss of or damage to personal belongings, or for injury, illness or death, except to the extent caused by the organiser’s negligence or as otherwise required by law. 9. Tickets or bookings may not be resold or transferred unless the organiser and platform expressly allow this. 10. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or in breach of venue rules. 11. For programme-based activities, certificates, logbook updates or progression sign-offs are awarded only where the required standard is achieved.
